Now, this is pretty interesting. I've never seen a split between Scotch whisky and Irish whiskey in one drink before. I actually want to try this one day and see how it pairs up.
Recipe:
30 ml Scotch whisky
30 ml Irish whiskey
15 ml lemon juice
15 ml orgeat

THE BARBACK’S REVENGE RECIPE
1 oz. El Dorado 8 Year Rum
1 oz. Bénédictine DOM
1/2 oz. Lustau Los Arcos Amontillado Sherry
1 oz. cold brew concentrate
Expressed lemon oil
THE AVIATION RECIPE
2 oz. St. George Botanivore Gin
1/4 oz. Rothman and Winter Crème de Violette
1/4 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
1/2 oz. Fresh lemon juice
Expressed lemon oil & cocktail cherry for garnish
THE SPRING FORWARD RECIPE
1 strawberry (muddled)
1/2 oz. semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
1 oz. Barsol Pisco Quebranta
1/2 oz. Plymouth Gin
3/4 oz. Cocchi Americano Bianco
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
Basil garnish
I love libations with a bit of history and flair to them. This is a simple drink, but the ingredients are top-notch and it helps that there's some reference to yesteryear. I'd def drink this on a rainy day here.
